SU/ESF Composting Initaitive
SU SIFE's Cow team is a collaborative effort between faculty and students at Syracuse University and SUNY ESF to implement sustainable practice, especially in the realm of composting and recycling technology. The team is currently overseeing the creation of an anaerobic digester that will convert organic matter (your food scraps) into methane (energy) that will help power a greenhouse, the Sheraton, Wegmans, wherever imagination takes us. We are expanding our efforts to education (hence, our blog) so that we can share exciting new advances and hear back from you. Plus, we need your leftovers!
